Data

Weather — MET Norway

Weather comes from the forecast API of the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. The data is published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0).

Data from MET Norway — met.no · License CC BY 4.0
IconDeck sends the app name and a contact address with every request, keeps forecasts until they expire before asking again, and sends coordinates only at city level (two decimal places).

Moon texture — NASA Scientific Visualization Studio

The moon picture uses the color (albedo) and elevation data from NASA SVS’s CGI Moon Kit (SVS 4720), scaled down for IconDeck. The source data comes from the LROC and LOLA instruments on the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter.

The earth pictures are Visible Earth’s Blue Marble (day) and Black Marble (night lights), scaled down for IconDeck.
